Aquarium Accessories

Our priority to keep an aquarium in our homes is the welfare of fish and invertebrates that we maintain. And the first step to note that prepares a list of aquarium accessories necessary for the welfare of the occupants of the aquarium is to keep the room cool aquarium, especially for marine aquariums. The ideal temperature for most fish only aquarium is 76 degrees and 82 degrees Fahrenheit. If you only have fish in the aquarium and the aquarium is properly stored supplies aquarium, then you need only a low temperature of 2 to 6 degrees. This will depend on the type of aquarium keeping and autumn temperature necessary to cool the tank.

With fish, it is not always the high temperature that kills. Many fish die in the performance of dissolved oxygen tanks too hot because of the low (DO) levels in the water. More water, reduction of dissolved oxygen (DO) of the property.

Here Tips to keep your cool water aquarium for your little friends to survive long.

1. If the aquarium is well covered, open the door in your tank, and a nylon mesh held over the openings to prevent fish from jumping. This allows heat to escape. You can help this peace process by directing the air flow of a small fan on top of the tank.

2. Close curtains on the windows of the room. Even light indirect environmental temperature leads to a degree or two, and any help. It may also reduce the amount of time lighting aquarium. The lights in the tank to contribute significantly to water temperatures higher. Do not let the lights all the time though. It's bad for fish too! If you have a freshwater aquarium plants, which requires at least 8 hours of light per day, may have no choice than buying an air conditioner or a refrigerator to solve their problem of heat.

3. Aerate your tank with a strong air pump! This will enhance the exchange of gases to the water surface, thereby raising levels of oxygen dissolved. It also helps heat exchange surface.

4. Do not unplug your aquarium heater, this is a common mistake that will return often. An aquarium heater functioning correctly turn off when the tank is the right temperature. Unplug the heater could cause reducing the temperature too far into the night in situations where it is hot during the day but cool at night and the windows in the room the aquarium is kept open.

5. If the computer aquarium is in a closed cabinet position under the aquarium doors cabinet and open up a fan circulating air in the field of study to allow the heat created from the aquarium to avoid the pump

6. Buy an air conditioner! Sometimes it is the only solution. The cost of operating an air conditioner for a few months is a small price to pay to keep our finned friends alive.
