Tropical Fish Breeds
How long can I keep tropical fish in a bag?

My brother species of tropical fish, but who lives about 280 miles. He said he had something for me, but I'm collecting them, but I need to know the best way to travel and how long you can keep for travel. Thank you for your time Mike

If the temperature is maintained within the normal range of fish and enough oxygen in the bag of fish will very well for a couple of days. To get the right amount of oxygen Make sure you have a big bag and fill it only 1/3rd of the road. Do not add fish that have not spent at least 3 days w / or known or food into the bag and the waste will reduce the oxygen level. Place fish in a cooler to keep the temperature at the appropriate level. They sell pills on the heat, but I have no experience with them w /. Do not blow into the bag to fill. News Man of carbon dioxide and oxygen or air in this country want ordinary. Keys, not to feed the fish during at least three days before bagging, just fill the bag 1/3rd of its height, double bag fish w / bags in the opposite direction (thus eliminating corners where fish can be caught and strengthens the bag), put the fish in a cooler to maintain temperature. Do not worry, your fish well. Sure to have a reservoir of a cycle of goto.

Tropical Fish Habitats
I do not know what to do with toads firebelly?

I thought to get toads firebelly But I do not know the actual weather plants or artificial need. me and my father has a large tank of tropical fish with 20 or 30 fish in it, we should have a compost pile and layers of things because which should be planted in some real plants, I keep ttoads in a separate tank in my room and I wonder if I should use natural plants or frogs firbelly be fine with artificial plants, Ive read the rest of the habitat, but could use a little more about it, and you can easily buy their food in a pet store and have a reservoir of 10-15 liters, which can, please help what ever information u HAV (if you still have preferbly urself) thak

I have owned two fire belly toads and fire-bellied newts. They can survive with natural plants or water, or just plastic. I'm sure some company recommends books using live plants for give the creatures a greater sense of well-being, as if somewhere in a pond. I would add some useful information: When I had my toads A few years ago, I kept in a tank without a filter, and kept the water three inches deep, more or less. This means that I had to change the water regularly once a week. In winter, when my toads have been much less active, I changed the water less often. In the summer months, I changed the water once or twice a week, especially when the remains are beginning to make the water cloudy. Both toads and newts like to eat tubifex worms, but since I did not like the treatment to live, I bought the dried variety. This was my favorite frog and lizard food. Pet stores also sell other food for aquatic turtles, frogs and newts in the section where the fish is food. Closely monitor food labels. Although there may be an image of a turtle on the front of food packaging, the small print indicates that it is good for frogs, toads, newts and salamanders. By opening this type of food, resembles Gray, small sticks. They just need a little more time, and not every day. When you buy freeze dried tubifex (which are also often sold when the food is other fish), food like small spaces dry. You should start a square in half and give half just beginning. Not the type food that are usually in the pet store, but once you get used to it, love it. Remember break the cube in the middle, especially if you're little toads, because the cube will absorb water and become difficult for small frogs to swallow. Give your toads different types of food so the diet ended. Floating food sticks alone do not provide adequate food. Back your question about plants: in most stores for pets, I saw newts and toads are a kind of true aquatic plants, but not always use them when I had my pet and did well. These creatures I love the solitude and sometimes dark, so make sure they have places to hide and rest, another area of the tank where they can rest, it is not completely submerged (you will find they are swimming not too much). But if they swim after their food, which brings me to this warning: Be careful if you set all the fish with these toads which may disappear in a day or two. My fire bellied newts occasionally eat small guppies, to my surprise! Finally, remember you've decided to buy amphibians, are cold blooded. Make sure you get the sunlight occasionally for an hour or two once or twice a week, or use a light which can also provide heat for warmth and comfort. But losing sunlight or heat / light. This will be detrimental to them and make water the reservoir to evaporate quickly. I know that we share much information, but we hope you find it useful. Good luck to you.
