Tropical Fish Aquarium Temperature

Tropical Fish Aquarium Temperature
Is it the temperature or pH that causes temporary blindness and death in my tropical aquarium?

I recently realized that my Disco tropical fish swimming as if they were blind because they kept bumping into each otherr and runs on the sides of the aquarium obviously could not see! The tank temperature is 32degrees C. idblindedd afraid my fish to raise the temperature so it is down to 28degrees C. In the morning he could see again and I did a test of PH. The pH is pH 7.2, while pH6.4 down to what is recommended, but all my angels are dead! I want to add other angels, but first I need some advice. Please someone can help me?

32 C is about 90 F. a range of 80-84 degrees F is acceptable ... but the absolute maximum is 90. Besides pH and temperature ... What are the levels of ammonia, nitrate and nitrite ... ensure that they are also in excellent condition. 90 degrees is way too hot angelfish. could be your problem with them. 75-86 is a range of temperatures well. be of the order of 28 c ... is what is too low. But if you lower the temperature or raise the temperature too quickly (instead of a few degrees at a time ...) that might point to the separation. Its pretty hard to be in the water too hot, but for a sudden cooling down, it really underscores. When the temperature is too high or too low, whether ammonia, nitrates and nitrites are off if the pH jumps largest to smallest on the right just too fast ... stress and can kill fish. stability as an essential means of keeping fish healthy. This does not guarantee 100% that they never have problems but it is a good start and that stress is an important factor in making sick fish, and a lot of stress from the instability of the water. the first thing you should before adding to the angels ... More get the temperature of solid at the proper temperature for all the fish in your tank ... obtain the pH under control and keep it there (without advanced fast) to keep other levels of control, without peaks ... ensure there no signs of illness (ick parasites, for example) and then once you have everything under control and can not keep it there for at least one week, and all other fish look good, eat and swim normally and then add the fish. disease you describe sounds like "eye" Cloud ensure that no cloud fish eye that is before the introduction of new fish. Various agencies (not specified), the severe stress, malnutrition, cataract, aging, overproduction of mud due to poisoning, poor water quality, or irritation. General symptoms of the eyes is cloudy a mist before the eyes, blindness, lethargy, loss of appetite.

So I bought some tropical fish. Are you sure that you selected healthy fish and you've done your homework to ensure that the fish you have to do together.

Your fish must have been wrapped in a plastic bag with oxygen and placed in a bag or box in black polystyrene to keep the heat in.

You should try to buy fish, no more than a few hours away. Fish may last more than 24 hours, but full, but time remains in the transition go more stress. You should try to keep stress to a minimum to ensure that fish is healthy.

Once you arrive at home should float the bags in water, then open the bags up. This will help to balance the temperature between water in the tank and water in the bag. You should also continue to add bits of water in the tank to the bag. Add a little and leave for five minutes before adding more. This will help acclimate the fish to the water chemistry of the tank and the pH and water hardness.

After doing this for about 20 to 30 minutes, you should then gently release the fish in the tank and let them swim out of existence in the bag. Then you have to leave the aquarium light all night. This will reduce stress because fish can see where the swimming and the environment and do not see as no predators around.

You should not feed them for about 24 hours to rest and then during the next few days eat in moderation. Take a few days to get used to the tank and feeding.

This is a good technique to add smaller fish and lower for the first tank. This will prevent harassment in the aquarium fish. Please follow these storage keep stress tropical fish return to a minimum. This will help the fish to a rapid integration and possibly cause you less stress.

However, before you start the gun and spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars in this expensive hobby, it would be wise to learn the basics of how take care of your fish and give them the environment they need to stay healthy.

  • Decorating - (like a Spanish shipwreck treasure!)
  • Kit test - test the water \ 's balance of pH and nitrogen content
  • Fish Food
  • Empty
  • Netting
  • Glasswasher

That \ 's quite a list and that \' s only the beginning of the list! As he pushes his aquarium and learn about his new hobby, you \ 'll want to add "extras".

For a freshwater tank fish success Tropical must work. Once a week, or up to once every two weeks, you have to do some maintenance on the tank. The most often water changes are made.

Try to take into account what type of fish that \ "we want in your aquarium because it will determine the size of the tank \ 'need. Some fish only grow in one or two inches, while other types of tropical fish can grow 12 or 13 inches or more in length! If this is your first time buying an aquarium can be a good idea to start with an aquarium of 10 or 20 gallons equipment and certain species of smaller and more resilient.

Consider that you will place the aquarium. If stands before a window or near a drafty door, you have problems keeping the temperature of your tank. Try to find a place outside these areas problematic.

Decorations Once everything is ready, the water leaks in the system, the radiator and the reservoir full, wait. It is necessary to wait several days to have your tank full filter and treat water in the tank. Once that happens - You \ 're ready to add a little life to your aquarium.

Add only 1-2 fish in your tank at once. Place the bag of fish floating in the tank for about 15 minutes for fish can acclimate to the temperature of your new home. Then add a little water in the tank and the bag so that the fish used for the pH of the aquarium. Afer another 10 minutes or more, you can release the fish into their new home. Don \ 't think that this first day will probably be very stressed and just need to get used to their new environment.

You now have a live aquarium, work and just needs regular maintenance so you can enjoy all year.
