How long can I keep tropical fish in a bag?
My brother species of tropical fish, but who lives about 280 miles. He said he had something for me, but I'm collecting them, but I need to know the best way to travel and how long you can keep for travel. Thank you for your time Mike
If the temperature is maintained within the normal range of fish and enough oxygen in the bag of fish will very well for a couple of days. To get the right amount of oxygen Make sure you have a big bag and fill it only 1/3rd of the road. Do not add fish that have not spent at least 3 days w / or known or food into the bag and the waste will reduce the oxygen level. Place fish in a cooler to keep the temperature at the appropriate level. They sell pills on the heat, but I have no experience with them w /. Do not blow into the bag to fill. News Man of carbon dioxide and oxygen or air in this country want ordinary. Keys, not to feed the fish during at least three days before bagging, just fill the bag 1/3rd of its height, double bag fish w / bags in the opposite direction (thus eliminating corners where fish can be caught and strengthens the bag), put the fish in a cooler to maintain temperature. Do not worry, your fish well. Sure to have a reservoir of a cycle of goto.
