What tropical fish for the birthdays of my children?
My son wants a shark in miniature, but only like fish kept before goldfish. I was looking to buy a tropical aquarium bio 30litre and wondered why I keep it there as claimed by 12-18 small fish. What also sharks are like fish called? and what mixes well with? Thank you for your help.
A bioorb 30litre is too small for sharks like fish. You be seeking at least 120 liters and a rectangular tank that regularly. You can go get it pretty cheap on sales, are bioorbs very expensive. The smallest shark like fish which is sold under the name "shark" are red-tailed shark and Rainbow. These are actually the same cyprinids family that the fish like goldfish! These fish are very territorial and will not tolerate their own kind and other sharks like fish. Avoid http://www.theaquariumwiki.com/Rainbow_Shark http://www.theaquariumwiki.com/Red_Tailed_Shark silver at all costs Sharks / Sharks Bala (Bala melanopterus) Iridescent Shark (Pangasius hypophthalmus) Paroon Shark (Pangasius sanitwongsei) and dogfish Colombian / Silver Tip Shark (Arius seemani). These are all very large growing fish (the smallest at 12 "The largest of about 3 feet!) And did - very specific needs, certainly not for beginners shy! Often sold only a few centimeters long, not to get stuck in not forget Put your tank through the nitrogen cycle before adding all the animals! And the actions of a new tank very slowly for several weeks. http://www.theaquariumwiki.com/The_Nitrogen_Cycle
